Caravan & Camping

On the doorstep of the Famous Yorkshire Dales, Scenic Ribble Valley & Picturesque Pendle Hill

Our camp site is opening: 4th July 2020

As a Farm Park, we have been following and acting on government advice. Although the Farm Park will remain closed for the foreseeable future we will be re opening our campsite from the 4th July - unless otherwise advised.

Following the goverments advice, the following areas will remain CLOSED:

  • The Farm Park : You will still be able to see our animals on our NEW Farm Safari from the comfort of your own car! Tickets must be pre-booked from the following website:

  • All play areas & equipment: The camping field is large enough to ensure all families will be able to keep more than a 2M distance and ensure the children can still run around and play, however our outside play equipment MUST NOT be used.

  • Toilets: The toilets will need to be used in your own vehicle. The toilet disposal point will be available to use before 10am and after 5pm. Our toilet block will be CLOSED for the forseeable future.

A Little Bit About Us

Our family run Thornton Hall Farm Country Park is an ideal choice for walking, shopping, sightseeing or just a tranquil place to stay.

We are a Caravan & Camping club certificated site with a larger field for Rallies.  Guests are welcome to join us in our irresistible Roosters Diner where we serve a selection of quality teas and coffees as well as freshly prepared hot and cold food.

Owners Chris & Emma also welcome camping guests to their successful visitor attraction where visitors have an opportunity to view all the animals including rare breed cattle, deer, miniature ponies and much more.

Adults who are camping onsite, wishing to use the farm park will be charged 50% less than the standard farm park entry. Children camping onsite, wishing to use the farm park will be charged full standard entry for the first day. Then every day after will be at a discounted rate of 50% off the standard farm park entry. NB this does not include Special Event days and ticketed events.

The Farm Park is open from January to December and has a full calendar of events throughout.

Explore The Local Countryside

The Pendle Way crosses through the centre of the farm or why not join the Pennine Way leading from the village. We have the Leeds & Liverpool canal in walking distance of the farm – for a longer walk head to the historic town of Skipton or take a shorter stroll to the village of Salterforth.  Why not hire a barge to explore all the beauty of the canal.
