Terms & Conditions

Admissions:

Toddler Sessions - £5 per toddler with 1 adult free.  Applies Monday - Friday, term time only.  Additional adults charged £5.  Additional babies (under 1) will be free of charge - however if under 1s wish to attend the music classes, they will be charges £5 toddler rate. This rate is not available to groups of 15+ children & adults.  Minimum admission charge is £5.

Carers - Those caring for a child with a disability are admitted free of charge on 1:1 ratio.  Proof of carer ID required at entrance.

Special Ticketed Events - Season Tickets, online offers, free party/school/family passes and discount vouchers are NOT valid on our special ticketed event days (see individual events for more details).

Dogs:

Guide dogs are welcome but for the comfort and safety of our livestock, please leave other pooches behind.

Expectant Mums:

If you are pregnant, we offer our congratulations but please avoid contact with sheep & goats.

Farm Park rides are not recommended for pregnant women.

Events:

Please note all our events are subject to change and additional ones are to be added to the programme.

Some events are subject to an increased ticket price - please refer to individual event web pages for more details.

For many of our special events, we have a photographer on-site.  If you do not wish to be photographed please inform the staff on the ticket window on your arrival.

All events activities and opening times are subject to change.

Farm Park:

Always wash your hands after animal contact.

Children must be supervised at all times.

No liability for loss, delay or inconvenience can be accepted.

The farm operates a NO SMOKING policy.

Farm Park rides are not recommended for pregnant women or people with back, joint injuries or heart conditions.

All rides are weather permitting.

Thornton Hall Country Park cannot accept liability for any damage or personal injury incurred whilst visiting the farm or on any ride.

We reserve the right to refuse admission.

No refunds given under any circumstances.

All activities and opening times are subject to change.

We reserve the right to withdraw, suspend and change all information, events and timings contained within our advertising.

Parties:

A non refundable deposit of £50 secures your party slot. Please advise numbers at least 3 days before the party date.

Minimum number of 12 of all parties - Exclusive parties require a minimum number of 15.

2 adults free of charge plus 4 grandparents for the birthday child.

2 adults permitted free of charge for every paying party child attending (siblings not attending the party will be charged a reduced entry).

Balance of party to paid on the day of the party.

Thornton Hall Farm are now able to offer an alternative educational experience.  Whether you’re looking for an educational day, working on a scouting badge, team-building or you just want to get outdoors and get muddy!  Then the new 'Thornton Woodland Explorers' might be for you!
Set in our woodland, for your experience you will have a dedicated and qualified Thornton Woodland Explorer guide.

Pony Trekking

Experience hands on animal encounters on our traditional working farm, hitch a ride in our 4 x 4 Adventure Experience and relax in our country tearoom while the little ones burn off the remainder of their energy in our huge fun filled Wizzick Play Barn… a fun filled, informative family day out, RAIN OR SHINE!

We only allow Guide Dogs on to the farm sorry for any inconvenience.
